Description:
A clear, odorless, highly stable humectant derived from vegetable sources. It attracts and binds moisture to the skin, improving hydration, softness, and barrier function. Compatible with almost all cosmetic formulations.

Usage Rate:
1% – 10% (can go up to 20% depending on product type)

pH Range:
Neutral (typically 6.0 – 7.0 in solution)

Solubility:
Fully soluble in water.
Soluble in alcohol.
Not soluble in oils unless emulsified.

Application:
Used across nearly all skincare and haircare formats
