Description:
Propanediol is a naturally derived, eco-friendly, and colorless liquid obtained from corn sugar. Known for its excellent moisturizing and conditioning properties, it serves as both a humectant and solvent in hair and skincare formulations. With its mild, sweet scent and water solubility, Propanediol enhances the texture, feel, and performance of shampoos, conditioners, lotions, and serums while being completely non-toxic and biodegradable.

Solubility:
Soluble in water, acetone, and ether; insoluble in oil.

Usage Rate:
1% – 10% (up to 20% depending on formulation requirements).

Recommended pH Range:
Neutral (approximately pH 7.0) — suitable for a wide variety of formulations.
