Lotion Pro (Glyceryl stearate & PEG-100 stearate)

Lotionpro is a self-emulsifying, acid-stable emulsifier blend which includes glyceryl stearate and polyoxyethylene stearate (PEG-100 stearate). It forms highly stable oil-in-water emulsions with excellent appearance and feel. It is often used with cetearyl alcohol or other fatty alcohols (as thickeners) in formulations.  Lotionpro can create lotions that are lighter and fluffier than those made with Emulsifying Wax NF, with a less waxy feel, and it is also able to create buttery formulations when combined with fatty alcohols and water-phase thickeners (see our Body Butter Bliss formulation linked on the Formulary tab).
