Description:
Butyl Acetate is a clear, colorless liquid ester with a mild fruity odor used as a solvent and carrier. It dissolves many resins, polymers and fragrance components and provides clean evaporation and good film formation in solvent-based systems.

Solubility:
Miscible with alcohols, ketones, glycols and esters; slightly miscible in water.

Applications:

• Fragrances & perfumes, cosmetics (as solvent/carrier)

Function:

• Acts as a solvent, extraction agent and fragrance carrier;
• Improves flow, leveling and film formation;
• Aids dissolution of oil-soluble actives and resins.

Storage:
