Alpha Arbutin

Alpha Arbutin is a naturally occurring substance derived from bearberries, blueberries, and cranberries which are loaded with antioxidants and other goodness that nature has to offer to allow our skin to heal and blossom.

Alternate name- 4-Hydroxyphenyl a-D-glucopyranoside

 CONCENTRATION AND SOLUBILITY-

• The effective suggested concentration for use is 0.2%-8%.
• Soluble in water and alcohol, slightly soluble in ethyl ether, and insoluble in benzene, chloroform, and carbon disulfide.

Process of using -

• Add to water or water phase at room temperature and stir until it dissolves completely.
• It can simply be added to any cream/lotion/serum, etc., which has an aqueous base.
